Talk to Strangers

by Sarah Stone

I think this applies on both personal and business levels. Put yourself out there occasionally, make a conversation. Connect with the world. From a smile to a ‘hello’ it can really make a difference, and who knows what it can lead to?
Some of my random conversations with strangers have gone from a restaurant in Boston to meeting up in Mumbai, India, ordering a drink on a beach to the best boat ride in Puerto Rico, Helping a neighbor with groceries and making a new friend, reaching out to a visitor and sharing a whole new group of friends and potential clients.  A friend is often the best referral you can ever have.

Try it today or tomorrow. . . You can say hello or just wave next time to you are out there @illuminationAd

See a story here that prompted my thought.
